Finished Homework Table
All packed and ready to go. This was an eye opener. So much packaging for one little table top.
I love the almost flesh color of maple in its unfinished state. Most finishes will yellow maple quite a bit as you can see from the yellow maple top that is under the new. I used a synthetic finish, which I normally avoid, because I wanted something durable and scratch resistant that wouldn’t amber the wood.
After the glue up, sanding, planing, and finishing.
Taking a break. Some of the other rooms in my building are quite pretty. The photo isn’t so great but the fall leaves match the orange chairs.
